LOCATION:Star Theater\, 13 NW 6th Ave\, Portland\, OR

 GVA!!!! - Genevieve Artadi's New Anime-Inspired Record\n\nTeleport into Ge
nevieve Artadi's supersonic universe with her new\nanime-inspired record\,
GVA!!!!!\n\nChanneled by the kinetic energy of her anime favorites from N
 aruto\, Bleach\, Initial D\, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood\, Jojo’s Bi
zarre Adventures\, Rurouni Kenshin and Attack on Titan – Artadi's fifth
album “is my dedication to anime”.\n\nSpeaking on the album's inspirat
ion\, Artadi describes\, “The inspiration I felt was like being turned i
nside out\, like some dormant dreams could awaken in a really fun and crea
tive way. It was great to feel driven like this instead of getting pulveri
zed by the world’s increasing grayness. Of course this would come out in
my music and in a twisted kind of way.”\n\nThe album continues her sign
ature fusion of experimental jazz with indie punk\, dream pop\, alt-electr
onic\, cinematic ballads\, and lush harmonic writing\, but it is Genevieve
's voice and arrangements that crystallizes her beautiful expression into
a future-sonic world that is truly her own. GVA!!!! is brought to life wit
h her collaborators: Louis Cole\, Pedro Martins\, Justin Brown\, Daryl Joh
 ns\, Sam Wilkes\, Chiquita Magic\, Chris Fishman\, and Miku Nakamura (of C
ö shu Nie). GVA!!!!! "is an energetic\, rocking\, colorful record through
which I hope to bring a sense of ignition to people’s souls who hear it
"\, explains Artadi.\n\nOut on all platforms this October 30\, follow the
release with her anime-inspired retro music videos and live tour dates wit
