SUMMARY:Generations: Featuring PSU Chamber Choir & First United Methodist
 Chancel Choir
LOCATION:Portland First United Methodist Church\, 1838 SW Jefferson Street
DESCRIPTION:Join Portland’s First United Methodist Church & Portland Sta
te University for a celebration of the unique power of intergenerational s
inging Each of us has something to teach—and something to learn. Student
s and lifelong choristers share the stage in a program that reminds us tha
t choral music is one of the few places where we all come together as equa
ls\, learning from and inspiring one another. This concert celebrates Firs
t United Methodist Church’s Music Intern Program\, established in 1996.
The program gives PSU music students experience\, financial support\, and
a welcoming artistic home\, while enriching FUMC with new voices\, fresh e
nergy\, and the promise of the next generation. Proceeds from this concert
directly support music intern stipends\, helping ensure that this partner
ship—and the tradition of generations singing together—continues to fl
 ourish.\n\nhttps://www.allclassical.org/event-archive/generations-featurin
