SUMMARY:THE THREE DS
LOCATION:Jack London Revue\, 529 SW 4th Ave\, Portland\, OR
DESCRIPTION:Soul'd Out Presents - The Three Ds - A Christmas Nog II\nDoors
: 7:00pm\nShow: 8:00pm\nAges: 21+\n\nThe Three Ds is fronted by Jessica Do
ver on Vocals\, John Dover on Trumpet\, and Mike Doolin on Guitars. Since
2016\, they have performed and recorded together putting their own spin on
  the music of Jobim\, 80’s pop classics\, jazz standards\, and a variety
of Holiday songs. Their playful sound and arrangements lend a fresh appro
ach to familiar material\, leaving their audiences with a tap in their foo
t and a smile on their face.\nThe release of their third studio album\, A
Night Like This\, plays to all of their strengths. From the many hats of M
ike Doolin laying down multiple guitar and bass tracks to every song\, to
Jessica Dover’s breezy approach to Jobim’s melodies\, to John Dover’
s buttery solo work on the flugel horn. The Three Ds deliver a heavy dose
of Brazilian jazz along with a couple of American songbook surprises.\nThe
ir prior releases include\, A Little Christmas Nog\, and A Little Christma
s Nog II: Nog Harder. Their holiday performances take the arrangements fro
m these recordings and deliver them with a nostalgic banter. Add in the so
und of their full band and audiences are carried away with a smile on thei
r face and holiday cheer in their hearts.\n\nhttps://drive.google.com/file
