 ption will be held on Thursday\, October 29 from 6-8 p.m. Lettie Jane Renn
 ekamp presents a new body of work including paintings\, drawings\, and scu
 lpture. “I’ve been exploring expression and facial recognition. By mix
 ing stylized eyes with texture and shape\, I’ve created fragmented human
 s\,” Rennekamp shares. “This work feels like an attempt to hold myself
  and my humanity amidst an avalanche of information. I’ve added rhythmic
  patterns to represent the places I can weave my agency. My use of abstrac
 tion represents all the elements of life we don’t have control over.” 
 Rennekamp is known regionally and nationally for mural work with clients s
 uch as the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI)\, the Portland Air
 port\, and the City of Tigard. They also co-own and teach at Ulna Art Stud
 io with Jolyn Fry and Cole Lyons. The Reprintery\, a collaborative project
  between artists Charlotte Flory and Michelle Freedman\, will present Gard
 enesque\, a collection of new textile works examining women’s histories.
