UFO! (SF) - Vision, Airlock, Psycobummer, Heavy Sounds

UFO!, also known as Ed Garro, is an undeniable pioneer in the stateside drum and bass scene. Coming up in the predominately Latin neighborhood in the Mission District of San Francisco California, he has been a dominating force since the 1990s, releasing numerous singles on labels in both the United States and abroad. garnering respect within the stateside scene for his eclectic sound. His creative journey extends beyond the confines of drum and bass, dabbling in and producing various genres over the years.

A move to New York in 2000 brought UFO! to new musical terrains. Not content to ride on his past rep in drum 'n bass, he began to delve into the nocturnal activities of the New York electro, new wave and dark wave scenes. During his time on the east coast, UFO! saw several of his productions featured in new media forums, including MTV and the hit TV series, CSI:NY.

UFO! continues to push ahead, carving out a niche on the outer fringes of the music scene in the most impressive way, with committed abandon, joyriding through the crumbling detritus of an industrialized society colonized by data and information—a place where the man is no longer easily distinct from the machine.

Mr. Solve (PDX) - Subduction Audio

Mr. Solve has been a solid staple in the local Portland drum and bass community. Since 2016 he’s been mastermind behind Subduction Audio, which has, over the years hosted many long running events such as DNB Happy Hour, Drum and Bass Park sessions, and currently the event Subduction Audio and Friends which takes place every 2nd Thursday from 6pm-9pm at Living Haus Beer Co. He also has a long running stint with over 890 mixes with the radio show Disorderly Conduct Radio on dnbradio.com.

A true Portland legend, this longtime dj/producer/selector and promoter of all things drum and bass is sure to bring some heat and set the tone for our headliner.

DANCE MODE: FAMILY RAVE

GET TICKETS HERE!

DANCE MODE: FAMILY RAVE 🌈✨

For years, rave parents have had to choose — leave the dance community behind, or leave the kids at home. We don't think that should be a choice.

Dance Mode brings the floor to the whole family. We believe the next generation deserves to grow up inside this culture — to learn PLUR (Peace ✌️, Love ❤️, Unity 🌍, Respect 🙏) not as a slogan, but as something they felt with you, on the floor, holding your hand.

This isn't just a party. It's a chance to bond with your kids over the same music, lights, and connection that shaped you — and pass it down.

WHAT TO EXPECT

🦄 The Flow: We open with a 30-minute warm-up — simple movement together, getting comfortable in the space as a family. From there we build into higher-energy dancing on the main floor. We close with a 30-minute cool-down, where we come back together and acknowledge the dance community we're building.

🎵 The Music: A curated DJ set that mixes kid favorites right alongside grown-up House and EDM classics — curated for the mixed crowd, with something for everyone on the floor.

🎨 Activities: Sparkly face painting with gems, plus a kandi-making station — everyone can make one bracelet for themselves and one to share, a hands-on way for kids to learn Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect and what it means to pass those values to others.

🧘 Sensory Refuge Room: A quiet space on-site for kids (or adults) who need a break from the sound and lights, with coloring and fidgets.

🎧 Forgot your sensory headphones? We've got a limited quantity for sale at the merch table.

🍕 Food & Drinks: Available for purchase on-site.

👗 What to Wear: However you feel most comfortable moving — costumes, rave gear, sweats, whatever works for you and your kids 😊

Join p:ear for a morning / early afternoon in support of this great program and community space. Half of the volunteers will roll their sleeves up to help spruce up the kitchen and common rooms to make them shine. The other half will pop into the kitchen to cook or prep food to freeze, which will prepare our staff for future meals. These opportunities are scheduled for Mondays11am - 3pm for up to 10 volunteers per day. We're on the corner of 6th and Flanders. Please knock our door to be let in! Each year our programs serve more than 700 homeless and transitional young people. p:ear staff and volunteers serve as mentors, friends, and role models, while p:ear's unique programs create opportunities for young people to grow intellectually, express themselves constructively, communicate in positive ways and engage in meaningful interactions with the larger community of Portland. Project Requirements: Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to attend this project. All volunteers under 16 are required to bring a Youth Volunteer Release Form and must attend with a parent or legal guardian. The best way to do this is to create a Volunteer Team, then sign up your team for this project. Remember to reserve slots for your children, as well as yourself. IMPORTANT NOTE: You are responsible for ensuring that everyone signed up through your team attends - only sign up team members who have confirmed their availability. Teams that repeatedly sign up, but do not show up or show up with fewer volunteers than they signed up, may be removed.
