Together, they enlisted the help of their fellow Pee-wee afficionados, prolific publisher and dynamic graphic artist, Jared Prophet, the noted artist, deejay, and event creator, Matt Stanger, and The Photobooth Chick, herself, Jocelyn Dean. Search and Destroy (S.A.D. for short) is a multimedia variety show happening on the last friday of every month featuring artists and local leaders sharing their craft and talking about what matters most to them. Through storytelling, live conversations, audience interaction, and heavy doses of honesty and humor, S.A.D. seeks to give hope and to be an entertaining and informative space for all to have fun, let loose, and be reminded that we as a people have the agency and ability to initiate change by working together as one.
S.A.D. was partly inspired by late-night television talk shows and variety hours and follows a similar format: an eye-catching opening number, a charming Emcee willing to play the fool, and a shared evening of dance, music, film, comedy, and conversations/interviews, all loosely tied to a theme of the night. The show ends with a dance party where the audience is invited to join the party on stage.âšOne of the main goals of each S.A.D. show is to dissolve the separation between artist and audience by directly engaging, conversing, and interacting with the audience, inviting them to participate in their seats as well as on the stage.âš Every show features dance movement, improvisation, visual imagery and soundscapes, conversations and spoken word, and various bits that play with the blurring of boundaries between the scripted and unscripted, all through an honest and humorous lens and the intention to entertain, educate, and inspire. Each episode of S.A.D. showcases different artists and acts than the previous one, guaranteeing that every iteration is unique and can only be experienced once.âšS.A.D. is a show for everybody and every body, regardless of their identity, background, age, and anything else used to describe oneself.
*Revenue generated from each show is split evenly amongst the contributing artists

DANCE MODE: FAMILY RAVE đâš
For years, rave parents have had to choose â leave the dance community behind, or leave the kids at home. We don't think that should be a choice.
Dance Mode brings the floor to the whole family. We believe the next generation deserves to grow up inside this culture â to learn PLUR (Peace âïž, Love â€ïž, Unity đ, Respect đ) not as a slogan, but as something they felt with you, on the floor, holding your hand.
This isn't just a party. It's a chance to bond with your kids over the same music, lights, and connection that shaped you â and pass it down.
WHAT TO EXPECT
đŠ The Flow: We open with a 30-minute warm-up â simple movement together, getting comfortable in the space as a family. From there we build into higher-energy dancing on the main floor. We close with a 30-minute cool-down, where we come back together and acknowledge the dance community we're building.
đ” The Music: A curated DJ set that mixes kid favorites right alongside grown-up House and EDM classics â curated for the mixed crowd, with something for everyone on the floor.
đš Activities: Sparkly face painting with gems, plus a kandi-making station â everyone can make one bracelet for themselves and one to share, a hands-on way for kids to learn Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect and what it means to pass those values to others.
đ§ Sensory Refuge Room: A quiet space on-site for kids (or adults) who need a break from the sound and lights, with coloring and fidgets.
đ§ Forgot your sensory headphones? We've got a limited quantity for sale at the merch table.
đ Food & Drinks: Available for purchase on-site.
đ What to Wear: However you feel most comfortable moving â costumes, rave gear, sweats, whatever works for you and your kids đ

Come at 8PM and get a ForrĂł Dance class!
Josephina Del Norte: The Argentinian DJ, singer and multi-instrumentalist Josefina Del Norte will start the night playing a mix of Latin American Cumbia and ForrĂł music from Brazil.
ForrĂł Beleza: Led by Pyata Penedo, a Brazilian lead singer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and owner of Figure 8 Sound Recording Studio, the band performs a variety of music from Northeastern Brazil known as forrĂł.
ForrĂł is a lively Brazilian music and partner-dance tradition rooted in Northeastern Brazil, where it developed through community gatherings centered around music, dancing, and social connection. Popularized nationally by legendary artists such as Luiz Gonzaga, its distinctive sound is traditionally created by the accordion, zabumba drum, and triangle, producing rhythms that feel both grounded and flowing.
The dance brings people together through a warm embrace, shared movement, playful turns, and a close connection to the music. Although it may remind newcomers of the intimacy of tango, the energy of salsa, or the grounded feeling of blues, forrĂł has a joyful and welcoming character entirely its own.
More than simply a style of music or dance, forrĂł is a celebration of Brazilian culture and communityâand the best way to understand it is to come experience it for yourself!
