Brainy Birds: Fall
Transportation Policy Alternatives Committee meeting
The Transportation Policy Alternatives Committee provides technical input to the Joint Policy Advisory Committee on Transportation for transportation planning and funding priorities for the region. TPAC meetings are held on the first Friday of the month unless otherwise notified.
TPAC reviews regional plans and federally funded transportation projects, and advises area leaders on transportation investment priorities and policies related to transportation. Such efforts include curbing greenhouse gas emissions and creating communities with easy access to public transit. The committee also helps identify needs and opportunities for involving the public in transportation matters.
DAC Meeting
The District Advisory Committee (DAC) meets the second Wednesday of every other month. District Meetings are open to the public and residents are invited to attend and stay up-to-date NCPRD projects and initiatives. Visit our Meetings & Minutes page for all upcoming and past agendas and packets. Meeting agendas are posted 5-7 days in advance of the meeting.
If you’d like direct notification of these meetings via email, you can ask to be added to our Public Meetings Distribution List by emailing [email protected].
