News Center Maine Lunch

Hi!

I sent this to Trisha Cobb in an email as well as I have some questions and want to make sure we’re good on this day.

Our team here at News Center Maine has really been through the wringer with all of the political advertising that we have had to deal with all year! Thankfully (for everyone!), this will come to an end on November 3rd. We’re looking for a place to get the team together for some pizza and snacks to celebrate the end. I suggested the club because of the proximity to our station.

I’m looking at Wednesday, November 4th (the day after election day) from noon to 4 p.m. There would probably be between 12-15 people attending at any time (kind of open-house hours). I would expect most to be there for lunch, then I’m sure some would stick around longer than others. This would not be a closed event. I’m assuming there wouldn’t be many at the club during that time, but that wouldn’t matter to us.

My thought is to rent one of the rooms upstairs that you might suggest for food and drinks, if you think that makes sense. It would also give a few extra dollars to the club. I will obviously provide a donation per attendee, per club rules, when I get a final head count.

Could you please let me know if there’s anything I’m missing or should consider? The only other question would be about parking, and if anyone besides me, as a member, would be allowed to park in the lot for this. There would probably be a lot of car pooling (or walking) since we’re so close.
