About this event
Cascadia Composers opens its season with Eugene's nonesuch.reedquintet in a program of new works inspired by science. Pieces by Sy Brandon, Mary Fineman, Alon Nechushtan, and Lana White look to astronomy, while works by Betty Booher, I'lana Cotton, Brian Magill, Paul Safar, and Nicholas Yandell draw on ecology and evolution, mathematics, medicine, cultural anthropology, and the overlap of electrical and political power.
