NT Live: The Misanthrope

Third Rail brings National Theatre Live to PAM CUT’s Tomorrow Theater, and this one’s a sharp get. Sandra Oh plays Alice in The Misanthrope, Martin Crimp’s contemporary-verse rewrite of Molière, directed by Indhu Rubasingham and captured live on the Lyttelton stage.

Alice is a novelist who has decided honesty is a moral duty, and the play tracks what that costs her. The bolder she gets, the faster the room empties. One night only, so get your seat early.
