A Nutcracker Tea

Northwest Dance Theatre’s holiday tradition returns for its 2026 run. This family-friendly, abridged version of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker follows Clara and the Nutcracker Prince through elaborate sets, glittering costumes, and sparkling choreography, danced by NWDT’s pre-professional company and guest dancers. It has been a Portland-area tradition since 2004. Complimentary tea and cookies are served at the conclusion of each performance.

Two NWDT member casts share the run. The Red Cast performs Dec. 12 and 13. The Green Cast performs Dec. 18, 19, and 20. Choose your date carefully if you have a preferred cast. All guest dancers perform the same roles in all seven performances.

Weekend parking at PCC Sylvania is free.
