About this event
A princess disguises herself as a man to win over the heir her family dethroned, and the philosopher guarding him has built an entire household on the rule that love is a weakness. The disguise works far better than she planned.
Jeffrey Stock and Susan Birkenhead set Marivaux’s comedy to music, and Lakewood Theatre Company plays it for wit as much as romance.
