Dean’s Series BIPOC Adoptee Panel

Portland State University College of Education and BIPOC Adoptees present a Dean’s Series panel for National Adoptee Awareness Month. Hear from four to five BIPOC adoptee speakers as they discuss their lived experiences regarding adoption, foster care and belonging, including what helped them in school, what got in the way, and what they wish their teachers had known. This panel offers practical strategies for educators to better support adopted students and their families. Open to all students, faculty, educators and community members. Free to attend.
