Make Your 'Mark: A Teen Volunteer Craft Program

At this before-hours volunteer event, teens can use a wide variety of craft supplies to make encouraging, positive, or just plain funny bookmarks, which we will then plant in books throughout the teen collection for others to find upon future checkout. This program is based on feedback from Teen Advisory Board members, who said that they love the surprise of finding bookmarks that previous patrons accidentally left in their library books. Come earn 1.5 hours of volunteer time while spreading joy by crafting with your friends!

Due to the special before-hours nature of this program, teens will be admitted between 10:50am and 11:05am via the north entrance to the Library adjacent to the parking lot. Look for our signs!

Designed for 9th to 12th graders. No registration is necessary, just drop in!
