Amphibious Butterfly

Amphibious Butterfly is a Portland based music group with roots in soulful singer-songwriter traditions, jazz, and acoustic grooves. Much of their original music is written by Mallory (guitarist and lead vocalist), drawing inspiration from nature, nostalgia, and artists such as Joni Mitchell and Esperanza Spalding. Johnny elevates the sound with bass lines that get you movin' and groovin' and soaring lead guitar riffs, while John Jones lays down mesmerizing rhythms on the djembe hand drum. Together, Amphibious Butterfly brings new waves of eclectic folk music to audiences across Oregon and beyond!
