Conversations with Love

“Conversations with Love” is an intimate literary and artistic experience featuring author Raven Marie. There will be poetry readings from the book Conversations With Love, live music provided by musical artist Splf, writing prompts for attendants to participate in, conversations and coffee at Just Bob’s located on the historic Alberta Road in Portland Oregon. The experience explores themes of love, self discovery and human connection. While the book has a spiritual foundation, the experience and book itself is intentionally expansive and welcoming to people of all backgrounds and beliefs.

The event is intended for poetry lovers, creatives, seekers and anyone drawn to literature that invites inner reflection. It is especially suited to those looking for inspiration, tools to access more self-love and appreciation as well as a moment of shared beauty amid the complexities of everyday life.

The experience connects to the Portland Book Festival through its belief in literature as a catalyst for connection, imagination and meaningful exchange.

Just Bob’s is an intentional part of this experience because it embodies the same sense of openness and belonging at the heart of Conversations with Love. It is a place for people from all walks of life — children, elders, creatives, entrepreneurs, neighbors, members of the LGBTQ+ community and people simply passing through for a cup of coffee.
