About this event
Join us for our upcoming Art & Conversation series celebrating the exhibition Nine Women Artists. Moderated by Grace Kook-Anderson, The Arlene and Harold Schnitzer Curator of Northwest Art, this special panel discussion brings together a distinguished group of Pacific Northwest artists—Sharon Bronzan, Judy Cooke, Mary Josephson, Lucinda Parker, Laura Ross-Paul, Shu-Ju Wang, Sherrie Wolf, Phyllis Yes, and Corrina Ace (daughter of Katherine Ace)—whose compelling works spans diverse styles from rich representation to bold abstraction.
Gather with fellow art lovers to explore the vibrant history, deep creative connections, and artistic evolution of these influential women who have helped shape some of the region’s artistic landscape. Following the panel, take advantage of Free First Thursday to explore the museum galleries, then head into the exhibition to meet the artists in person and get your exhibition catalogue signed!
