Forest Heights Removal of invasive species

We need help with the removal of invasive species such as blackberries and jewel weed on one of our nature trails, the Wetland trail, located around Mill Pond Advanced Registration: Is required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot. Meeting Location: Signs and balloons, as well as staff will be available to direct to event location Address: 1885 NW Mill Ridge Road Portland, OR 97229 | Map Link What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts. What's Provided: We will provide shovels, rakes, Polanski blackberry removal tools, clippers and hoes. There will also be water and protein bars for those who join! Restrooms: Restrooms are available a short distance away from Wetlands Trail Parking: Ample parking is available along Mill Pond Road Transit: Not available nearby Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.
