Monthly facilitated discussion groups on topics important to older adults. These interactive conversations provide a forum for discussion as well as opportunities to explore new possibilities and resources.

December 8: Dealing with Fraud & Scams
Spotting fraud and scams, especially those targeting senior citizens, requires recognizing specific psychological tactics and unusual financial requests. Scammers often exploit trust, social isolation, and a lack of familiarity with new technology, designed to steal life savings, which reached a reported $4.8 billion in losses for elderly victims in 2024. Less than 3% of those losses were recovered.
