Future Vision Commission meeting

The Future Vision Commission was appointed by the Metro Council on June 12, 2025. Directed by the Metro Charter, the Commission will develop and recommend an updated Future Vision for the region.

The adopted Future Vision, which states a number of core values essential to shaping the region’s future, was first published in 1995.

The Future Vision Commission will meet monthly, typically on the second Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m., in person at the Metro Regional Center council chamber. Meetings are open to the public with the option to view online via Zoom, beginning Oct. 9, 2025. This work is expected to take about 18 months.
