Spain - Nov. 14

Set in 1936, Spain follows two passionate filmmakers as they take on a sweeping film about the Spanish Civil War, hoping to influence American hearts and minds. Their ambitious project is financed by the KGB, bringing questions of truth and fiction into focus. The production combines theater with live opera developed in partnership with Portland Opera, along with recorded and live music performed by musicians with 45th Parallel.
