Spain - Nov 15 (Closing Matinee)

Set in 1936, this production follows two passionate filmmakers embarking on an ambitious film about the Spanish Civil War, hoping to influence American public opinion. Their project is funded by the KGB, raising questions about how truth and fiction can be shaped by the way a story is presented. The production brings together theater, live opera created in partnership with Portland Opera, and recorded and live music performed by musicians with 45th Parallel.
