Loosewig Jazz Series at Kennedy School - Featuring Bostonova

This monthly jazz night features a different artist and is hosted by local jazz musician Brent Follis. Portland musicians Phil Baker, Dan Faehnle, Brent Follis, and Renato Carato perform before being joined by Brian L. Davis, Deborah Bayardino, and Jean-Pierre Garau for the debut of Bostonova. The project reimagines the classic rock band Boston’s debut album through the style of 1960s bossa nova, bringing smooth saxophone, upright bass, and Portuguese vocal tones to familiar rock sounds.
