Plant yourself in a beautiful Lake Oswego garden inspired by the timeless beauty of an English perennial garden. Internationally active guitarist, vocalist, and educator Mario Díaz opens the festivities with an intimate performance that weaves together classical guitar, Latin American traditions, and contemporary influences. A faculty member at Portland State University and a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he studied with legendary guitarist Sérgio Assad, Díaz is known for his engaging artistry, expressive musicianship, and collaborations that bridge musical traditions. After the performance, wander the lush gardens while enjoying delicious bites and refreshing beverages.
