Come Celebrate the wondrous role mycelium plays in a healthy forest. Join us for a scavenger hunt on our third annual Mushroom Mania on Nov. 8th from 9AM-2:30PM and find your very own mushroom figurine. Guided hikes will start at 10AM, 12PM, and 1:30PM. Meet our guest speaker Park Ranger Dane Osis for his presentation at 11AM. Learn all about Truffles, witness award winning Truffle dog Happy Harvi the Truffle King work his magic in person, and check out his new book! Join local author Jeff Marcovics for Storytime at 10:30 and 12:30. Crafts, and Facepainting will be located in the Nature Center, while vendors and the hike meetup will be located in the Education Pavillion. November can be rainy so check the weather, and dress appropriately. Hikes will be happening rain or shine, but the rest of the event will be indoors. There is no admission for the event, but parking passes are required at this location.
