The Mount St. Helens Institute will host “Volcano Views and Brews: Day Hiking the Olympic Peninsula with Craig Romano” from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Dec. 3 at Heathen Brewing and Kitchen, 2225 N.E. 119th St., Suite 109, Vancouver. Take a slideshow hiking tour around the Olympic Peninsula, Grays Harbor and Long Beach Peninsula with award winning guidebook author Craig Romano. Drawing from the new, third edition of “Day Hiking Olympic Peninsula,” Romano will introduce guests to a diverse array of trails on the Olympic Peninsula; from easy nature trails to wilderness romps. The cost to attend is $10.
