Volunteer Opportunity Go behind-the-scenes at OPB. Connect with other volunteers and members. About the Program Each year, hundreds of volunteers help OPB fulfill its mission of connecting people across Oregon and the Pacific Northwest through the power of a shared story. Volunteers support OPB in a variety of ways, including connecting with members during quarterly TV membership drives. About the Project Help OPB and KMHD make a direct, personal and positive impact on our relationship with members! During Thank a Member Week, volunteers make phone calls to members using a provided script and record any comments using a Google form. There are no fundraising asks. It's just an opportunity to say "thank you" to our wonderful members. Training is provided at the start of your shift. 2.5-hr shifts will take place June 10-16 in the mornings and afternoons. Registration required! Please note: Volunteers must be 18 years or over to participate. Also, we are unable to accommodate service requirements related to any outside organizations or entities. (Volunteering related to matching gift programs is permitted.) Project Requirements Requirements Age: Volunteers must be 18+ Volunteer shifts are available November 10/12/13/14/16. Shifts are 2.5 hours. Notices Referral Opportunity: This opportunity is run directly by one of our nonprofit partners. After you express interest, the partner will contact you with next steps and confirmation details. Hands On Greater Portland Hours: Your hours may not appear in your Hands On account because this is a partner‑managed opportunity.
