About this event
This session gives participants practical tools for evaluating whether AI‑generated content is trustworthy. We will walk through common types of AI mistakes, explore how to check facts quickly and safely, and practice spotting misleading or incomplete answers. Participants will learn simple strategies for verifying information using multiple sources and for recognizing situations where AI should not be relied on. Individuals will also learn methods to gauge whether others may be using AI maliciously to gain access to their personal information or resources. Hands-on examples and guided practice will help build confidence in using AI responsibly for everyday decisions and improve recognition of AI deep fakes, AI imitation calls, and crypto scams. For this session, participants are asked to bring smartphones, laptops or tablets with internet access..
