A Cascade Showcase

A Cascade Showcase

April 24

No band. No backing tracks. Just voices — and what voices. Cascade, the Portland Gay Men’s Chorus’s premier a cappella ensemble, takes the intimate stage of the Alberta Rose Theatre for an evening of tight harmony, playful arrangements, and the kind of musical high-wire act only a cappella can deliver. It’s also a milestone moment: the ensemble debut of PGMC’s new Associate Artistic Director, Douglas Orofino, bringing fresh energy and a new artistic voice to one of the chorus’s most beloved traditions. Up close and unplugged — this is Cascade at its finest.
