About this event

Project details

Join Portland Parks & Recreation to remove English ivy. By removing noxious weeds, we create space for native plant regeneration, increase biodiversity, enhance wildlife habitat and reduce erosion. This is a great way to get outside and enjoy nature.

Please bring your own water bottle, wear closed toe shoes, and dress for the weather. Instructions, tools, and gloves will be provided. For the safety of staff and other volunteers, please stay home if you are feeling sick.

Registration is required

You must have an account to register and creating an account requires a name (does not need to be your legal name), zip code and password. LocationParking and public transportation

There is plenty of parking along the NW Savier and NW Aspen intersection, which is a quick walk to the trailhead. Please do not park on Holman Lane.

The 15 Bus drops off at NW Vaughn and 27th, which is a 20+ minute walk to the trailhead. Bikers are able to lock their bikes at the trailhead as long as the bikes do not obstruct the gate or the walk through on the sides of the gate. More information can be found at Trimet.org.
