Are you a teen? Do you have ideas for the library? Then come boss us around! We need your help to make sure the stuff we're doing at the library is stuff you actually want. Earn volunteer hours, eat snacks and meet other teens.
This can and bottle drive supports Safe and Sober and is seeking help throughout the season. People can contribute by taking a shift, lending an enclosed trailer, offering storage space for collected materials, or donating redeemable cans and bottles. Donation pickup can be arranged if needed. This effort is the program’s largest fundraiser, and a sign up is available to coordinate volunteers for the full season.
Help Friendsview restore the final section of its property along Hess Creek by planting trees and shrubs. Nearly 400 plants are planned for the site, which is being restored as a beautiful, ecologically sound habitat. Volunteers can also enjoy the restored property’s trails and trees.
