South Metro
Stanley Avenue Open House
SE Stanley Avenue is getting an upgrade!
Come learn more and share your input! The city and Clackamas County are working together to improve SE Stanley Avenue from SE Johnson Creek Boulevard to SE King Road.
The project will create safer, more comfortable connections for people walking, biking, rolling, and driving, while improving the roadway and stormwater system.
The open house will provide an opportunity to:
- Learn about the project.
- Review an early design concept.
- Talk with the project team.
- Share your preferred cross-section.
Learn more about the project at www.milwaukieoregon.gov/stanleyave.
Mayor Buck’s Community Roundtable - Welcoming Our New City Manager
The Mayor’s Roundtable is a quarterly community forum designed to connect our community directly with the Mayor, Council members, and City leadership to discuss top City goals, share ideas, and address local priorities.
Please join us for a special community gathering co-hosted by the City of Lake Oswego and the African American Women of Lake Oswego and Surrounding Areas on Thursday, November 12, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in Oswego Hall at LORAC. This event will feature a warm welcome for our new City Manager, an opportunity to connect with the City Council, and a chance to learn about upcoming initiatives.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Clackamas County Braver Angels
Braver Angeles is a national movement staffed by volunteers at the local level. The driving mission of this movement is to bring people together to bridge the partisan divide while strengthening our democratic republic. It envisions an America with respectful embrace of political disagreements, where civic friendship flourishes, and competing perspectives strengthen us.
Conversations in these gatherings value respect, humility, honesty, and responsibility. The goal is not to change people’s views of issues, but to change their views of each other. Volunteers hope these conversations help to overcome the various division (rural/urban, liberal/ conservative, red/blue) in Clackamas County to build stronger community.
Hosted by: Clackamas County Braver Angels members. For more information, contact Michael Balter, Ambassador, [email protected]
