Tikkun Olam: Dignity Grows Packing
Email Merit Pinker
Join us to pack menstrual and hygiene totes for community members who need them. We’ll have time to chat with Dignity Grows distribution partners, schmooze with other volunteers and, of course, pack totes! Visit our website to learn more about this program, or email Merit Pinker to get more involved ([email protected]).
Teen Council
Join us for teen council. It’s a fun way to make new friends, earn volunteer hours by helping your library and your community — AND get free snacks!
“Phenology Friday” Plant Walks
Join this monthly community science monitoring program to observe seasonal changes in key culturally and ecologically important plants. You will learn to identify these plants in all life stages and contribute to critical local data! This surveying follows the same plants year-round to monitor climate change impacts and help inform our restoration efforts—directly contributing to supporting adapative restoration to keep the forest happy and healthy.
See the full schedule and sign up through our volunteer system here.
All ages and experience levels are welcome. Volunteer activity includes hiking up to 2 miles down to the creek and back up to the Nature Center.
This project is supported by iNaturalist and Seeding Action!
Tween Council
Help your librarian choose the best books, movies, comics, programs and events for you and your friends. Have fun working on special projects, making new friends, and creating the perfect library for you! This is a volunteer position and snacks will be provided. For kids in 4-5th grades.
