Roadless
Three adventurers set out on foot in the Alaskan wilderness to follow the 211-mile length of the proposed Ambler Mining Road. Crossing vast tundra, wild rivers, and pristine forests, the team brings audiences directly into one of the most remote and ecologically intact landscapes in North America.
160 miles north of the Arctic Circle; as the miles accumulate, so do the challenges—injuries, exhaustion, hunger, relentless mosquitoes, and the harsh reality of traveling challenging terrain without roads or trails. But the team also reveals a landscape few people will ever experience firsthand. Encounters with wildlife, experiencing 24-hour sunlight, and the vast Arctic ecosystem offer a glimpse into a remarkable environment that has remained untouched by human development.
Roadless takes viewers on an adventure of endurance, and natural beauty while exploring what could be lost if the Ambler Road is built.
Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story
What happens to all the food we grow but never eat? And what can we do to change that?
Join Slow Food Portland for a special screening, followed by a community conversation exploring food waste and the local efforts working to address it.
In this thought-provoking documentary, filmmakers Jen Rustemeyer and Grant Baldwin challenge themselves to live for six months on food that would otherwise be thrown away. Along the way, they uncover the staggering amount of perfectly edible food wasted across our food system and the environmental, social, and economic consequences.
Following the film, we’ll bring together local panelists working in food recovery, sustainability, and food systems to discuss what’s happening here in Portland and how we can create a less wasteful, more equitable food system.
Whether you’re passionate about food justice, sustainability, or simply curious about reducing food waste, we hope you’ll join us for an evening of film, conversation, and community.

Song of Sunset
Doors @ 6:30 PM
Founded and hosted by Bend filmmaker and musician Brian Craig Hinderberger, known onstage as Ghost of Brian Craig, Song of Sunset connects original documentaries with live performances and conversations that bring audiences closer to the people behind the stories.
Unlike a traditional concert or film festival, Song of Sunset brings together music, history, storytelling and community in an intimate setting designed to create meaningful connections. Films and performances share the stage with discussions that invite audiences into the creative process.
The Underground series explores hidden histories and unconventional creative spaces. Award-finalist Salvaged Reverb: Inside Robert Lang Studios takes audiences beneath a home into a legendary, handmade recording studio. The award-winning Cosmic Heirloom: Buried 400 Years, selected for screening at this year’s Eastern Oregon Film Festival, examines the long and mysterious history of psilocybin. The series will also feature musicians performing a live score to excerpts from Dziga Vertov’s 1929 silent documentary Man with a Movie Camera.
The route connects three distinct creative communities: Bend’s brewery culture and volcanic landscapes; Seattle’s music history and independent arts scene; and Portland’s neighborhood theaters, record stores and small stages. Clinton Street Theater, which opened in 1915, carries that community tradition into the winter stop.
