Opera Chats

Glenn & Viola Walters Cultural Arts Center527 E. Main St., Hillsboro, OR, 97123

Part performance, part lecture, part conversation, Opera Chats is a unique, immersive, interactive exploration of the world of opera—its history, its sounds, its social and political relevance, its greatest creators and exponents, its infinite variety. Led by conductor and pianist Nicholas Fox, Artistic Director of OPERA IN THE PARK Portland, engage in an intrepid journey into the heart of the question: why has opera, after five centuries, not lost a bit of its grip on audiences?
