Lila Forde and Zan Fiskum

Soul'd Out Presents: Lila Forde and Zan Fiskum. Doors: 7:00pm Show: 8:00pm Ages 21+. Special Note : Ticket holders for this show receive free admission to Jack London's Burly Q Revue Cabaret after the music! LILA FORDE With a voice steeped in jazz, soul, folk, and old-school American songcraft, the Seattle-born, Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter has always carried a deep sense of self through her music. But on Life Can Still Be Sweet, her sophomore album, that self comes into fuller focus: A little older, a little wiser, more instinctive, and more firmly in command of the world she’s building. Warm, whimsical, and full of growing pains, the record captures Forde in the thick of her twenties – chasing songs, learning lessons, finding her people, and holding onto beauty even when life gets hard. “I think I have a really unique voice – not just my literal voice, but my proverbial voice,” Forde says. “In this day and age, and in this industry, there’s a lot of trend following, and there’s a lot of homogeny. I’m just really trying to be my own artist.” That individuality has been there from the beginning. Raised in a spiritual, music-filled household in Seattle, Forde grew up without a television and with her feet in the dirt – the daughter of a musician and meditation teachers who encouraged her to stay curious, grounded, and creatively free. She sang in choirs, studied jazz in college, and steeped herself in the classics, from Bonnie Raitt and Carole King to Ella Fitzgerald and Nancy Wilson, while developing her soulful California sound that feels unmistakably her own. https://lilaforde.com/ Zan Fiskum is a singer and songwriter from Maple Valley, WA, whose music blends folk, soul, and cinematic pop into emotionally vivid storytelling. Known for her commanding vocal range and a diversean diverse sound rooted in the Pacific Northwest, Zan has built a dedicated following through a series of independent releases that have amassed over a million streams. She has opened for artists including The Avett Brothers, Kingfish, Mon Rovia, and shared the stage with John Legend and Dave Matthews. https://zanmusic.net/ JLR Seating Map Notes : For this show, you may reserve individual tables on the map pictured. Eric John Kaiser – Album Release

Soul'd Out Presents: An Evening with Eric John Kaiser. Join us for Eric's album release party @ Jack London Revue. Doors: 7:00pm Show: 8:00pm Ages 21+. https://www.ericjohnkaiser.com/ ------- Known as The French Troubadour, Parisian-born Eric John Kaiser is a singer-songwriter reimagining French music through an Americana lens. Eric was born in the southern outskirts of Paris, in small town called Verrières-le Buisson, and began learning guitar when he was 10 years old. After years of a classical music education, he found a teacher that opened him up to the music of the Beatles and Rolling Stones. He began writing songs in his adolescence, using music as both a diary to channel his experiences and as his personal legacy. After performing over 350 concerts in France, Eric John Kaiser fell in love with a girl, a romance which would bring him to Portland, Oregon where he is currently based. Now, over a decade since his relocation, he logs close to 10,000 miles each year via air, land, and sea, guided by his music, exploring North America on multiple lengthy tours. He has gigged his way up through Canada and down through the South, as far as New Orleans and Boston. Eric John Kaiser has released six full length albums recorded in Paris, Oregon and Québec. His album “Made In Gaspésie” charted 14th in the “Billboard World Chart” the week of its release. He has performed at the de Young Museum in San Francisco, as an “Artist in Residence” at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC, the Blue Nile in New Orleans, and the Solidays festival in Paris. He has shared the stage with Welsh superstars Stereophonics, toured with French star Tété (who has also appeared as a featuring artist on his album French Troubadour), played with The Lost Bayou Ramblers in Lafayette Louisiana, as well as the French band Revolver. French Rapper Fefe from the band Saïan Supa Crew also appeared on Eric John Kaiser's album L'ODyssée. ------ JLR Seating Map Notes : For this show, you may reserve individual tables on the map pictured. June Mcdoom

Soul'd Out Presents: June McDoom with Eliana Glass Doors: 7:00pm Show: 8:00pm Ages 21+. https://www.instagram.com/junemcdoom/ https://www.instagram.com/ladyliana There is a hush most of us only knew as children, the warm drift between familiar household sounds and being carried to bed, a place that belongs to you and to some self you have not met yet. June McDoomʼs debut full-length, Follow the Light, lives in that dream space and then keeps walking, slipping out of time and waking somewhere new, barely familiar enough to feel like home yet wholly your own. She came up in a Jamaican household on the edge of the Florida Everglades, an existence built of extended family, communal care, bass and harmonics. Her father, a carpenter and a student of sound, built his own speakers and kept three sound systems going across as many rooms. His low end would rise through her bedroom floor like some wayward cat while she lay above it with folk records, finding harmonies that were new and hers alone. Two musics in one room. Lushness as past and premonition. She found folk on her own, somewhere between the cast recording of The Sound of Music and Simon and Garfunkel, while everyone around her called it sleepy music. She did not mind being the only one. The solitude let her fall for harmony first, before words, before anything else, and harmony is still the thing she reaches for.
