Son of the White Mare (1981) x Perfume for the Eyes — Between Worlds: A Multisensory Solstice Experience
Enter the psychedelic, mythic world of Son of the White Mare (1981), Hungarian animator Marcell Jankovics’s extraordinary animated tale of heroic journeys, transformation, and the cyclical dance between light and darkness.
As the winter solstice approaches, join visual perfumer and divinatory artist Danielle Delceppo for an immersive journey into the film’s mythological world through scent, tactile exploration, and a collective tarot reading. This multisensory experience invites audiences to engage with the film’s archetypal imagery and symbolism, finding echoes of their own stories within the myth and carrying its wisdom beyond the screen.
About Danielle Delceppo
Danielle Delceppo is a visual perfumer, divinatory artist, tarot reader, and astrologer whose work explores the intersection of sensory memory, symbolism, and personal narrative. She is the creator of Perfume for the Eyes: A Tarot of Dreams, a multisensory tarot deck and guidebook developed through her practice of Visual Perfumery, which translates the architecture of scent into layered imagery. Through her studio, Auburn Intuitive, she brings art, tarot, and astrology together to facilitate experiences that connect personal storytelling with shared discovery. She is the resident astrologer and tarot reader at Soho House Portland and Frances May. In 2026, she spoke on the Tarot Ecosystems panel at the Philosophical Research Society’s Festival of Tarot.
