Portland Community College

Learn foundational County Clare Irish set dancing techniques to traditional reels, jigs, and hornpipes. Step-by-step instruction leads into called dances and social dancing, helping participants develop coordination, musicality, and confidence with the group figures of this community-based tradition. The final class includes a field trip to a community dance with live music. All levels are welcome, and no partner is required.
