Beers with Engineers is a diverse group of engineers from a variety of fields coming together to share a drink after work, commiserate with like-minded nerds, and learn more about our respective industries.

If it's your first time joining us, welcome! We strive to make our meetup welcoming for both newcomers and returning attendees and inclusive for all current or aspiring engineers,

Get ready for the 92nd Verboort Sausage and Kraut Festival, a one-day celebration in Verboort, Oregon.

Bring your appetite for the famous all-you-can-eat sausage and kraut dinner, or take home bulk sausage and kraut to create your own festival feast. Don't miss the one-of-a-kind Bazaar, filled with vintage jewelry, plants, handmade holiday décor, potholders and quilts, and homemade baked goods and jams. There's fun for the whole family, including kids' activities, family bingo, festival merchandise, and plenty of photo opportunities. Guests 21 and older can relax in the beer garden with beer, wine, cider, sausage and kraut, and college football on the big screens.

Come celebrate the community spirit of nearly 850 volunteers and discover why the Verboort Sausage and Kraut Festival is always worth marking on your calendar—the first Saturday in November.

Come experience one of the largest pop-up art movements to hit North America over the past decade. Celebrating over 15 years of serving free pancakes and introducing you to some of the nation's leading emerging artists. The LA-based event originated in 2009 and has since popped up more than 500 times in 35+ cities around Europe and North America.

Batter sizzles, beer foams, and canvas lines the walls from ceiling to floor as hundreds, sometimes thousands, of revelers indulge in endless pancakes.

This is no stuffy wine-and-cheese, pretentious, someone-gag-me art event. It’s an innovative reimagining of the art show concept. A welcoming vibe for up-and-coming artists to sell and strut their stuff in a free-verse, anything-goes environment.

Tech talent pool This is a fun networking event to play pool and talk tech. We will have free tables to play on and Happy Hour runs until 6pm. Everyone is welcome, you do not have to be great at pool to attend!

On this Thanksgiving Weekend, one of the busiest wine tasting weekends in Oregon all year, classical guitarist David Tutmark will perform at Sidereus Winery. David has played at 400+ events and even internationally in Chile, Italy, Mexico, Pakistan, Peru and the United States. David’s passion for the guitar led him to create a classical guitar concert series in Portland Oregon called “Siempre La Guitarra,” which features incredible guitarists from all over the world. Whether for audiences large or small, David is known for his visceral yet polished style of playing, and consistently delivers captivating performances of traditional and contemporary classical guitar. David is also on faculty at Clackamas Community College in Oregon City where he is the professor of classical guitar. We anticipate being very busy—reservations are strongly recommended.

Music: 2:00-5:00 p.m.

Wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages are available, along with charcuterie and hummus plates and other snacks. Boro Burger food truck, which has won several awards, will be on site. This month, we are also having a Toy Drive—bring a recommended toy, get a complimentary glass of wine on us.

The mission of the SES PTSA is to support the mission of Sunnyside Environmental School by enhancing educational opportunities for students and families, supporting our staff, and promoting family and community involvement in our school. We carry out this mission by focusing our activities on: Raising funds to invest in enhanced learning opportunities and support for teachers, classrooms and our physical environment; sponsoring events and volunteer opportunities that promote strong family and community involvement in SES; actively promoting communication between school and families and developing the school community.

WSU Vancouver MIS club and the Oregon Data Community host a free one-day training event for data professionals and students using the Microsoft Data Platform.

Session topics include SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Synapse, data analytics, visualization and more!

Coffee and Beverages will be provided, and lunch will be available for a small fee.

Kennedy School turns 111 this year. What would those kids from the first class think if they could see their school now? Beer in detention, cocktails with honors, sleepovers in classrooms and cloakrooms. Come celebrate this institution.
