NODES 2026 is Neo4j's free, 24-hour global online conference, running across every time zone on November 12. The program is aimed at developers, data professionals, architects and AI engineers, with sessions on modern application development, multi-agent workflows, graph-backed retrieval and building context-rich systems that hold up in production. Talks are grouped by experience level, so there are introductory sessions for people new to graph databases alongside deeper technical material on knowledge graphs, agent orchestration and graph analytics at scale. Because the event streams continuously for a full day, Pacific-time attendees can join sessions in the morning, over lunch or in the evening, and recordings are typically published afterward. UFO! (SF) - Vision, Airlock, Psycobummer, Heavy Sounds
UFO!, also known as Ed Garro, is an undeniable pioneer in the stateside drum and bass scene. Coming up in the predominately Latin neighborhood in the Mission District of San Francisco California, he has been a dominating force since the 1990s, releasing numerous singles on labels in both the United States and abroad. garnering respect within the stateside scene for his eclectic sound. His creative journey extends beyond the confines of drum and bass, dabbling in and producing various genres over the years.
A move to New York in 2000 brought UFO! to new musical terrains. Not content to ride on his past rep in drum 'n bass, he began to delve into the nocturnal activities of the New York electro, new wave and dark wave scenes. During his time on the east coast, UFO! saw several of his productions featured in new media forums, including MTV and the hit TV series, CSI:NY.
UFO! continues to push ahead, carving out a niche on the outer fringes of the music scene in the most impressive way, with committed abandon, joyriding through the crumbling detritus of an industrialized society colonized by data and information—a place where the man is no longer easily distinct from the machine.
Mr. Solve (PDX) - Subduction Audio

He also has a long running stint with over 890 mixes with the radio show Disorderly Conduct Radio on dnbradio.com.

Discover how contemporary AI applications can serve as powerful tools for independent living, lifelong learning, and daily problem-solving. This interactive workshop demonstrates practical accessibility functions hidden inside everyday tech, such as instant text-to-speech audio conversion, natural voice-command interactions, and real-time smartphone image recognition (perfect for reading small labels or identifying objects). Moving into deeper research skills, we will outline advanced prompting methods while unpacking the distinct structural limits of large language models. DANCE MODE: FAMILY RAVE 🌈✨
For years, rave parents have had to choose — leave the dance community behind, or leave the kids at home. We don't think that should be a choice.
Dance Mode brings the floor to the whole family. We believe the next generation deserves to grow up inside this culture — to learn PLUR (Peace ✌️, Love ❤️, Unity 🌍, Respect 🙏) not as a slogan, but as something they felt with you, on the floor, holding your hand.
This isn't just a party. It's a chance to bond with your kids over the same music, lights, and connection that shaped you — and pass it down.
WHAT TO EXPECT
🦄 The Flow: We open with a 30-minute warm-up — simple movement together, getting comfortable in the space as a family. From there we build into higher-energy dancing on the main floor. We close with a 30-minute cool-down, where we come back together and acknowledge the dance community we're building.
🎵 The Music: A curated DJ set that mixes kid favorites right alongside grown-up House and EDM classics — curated for the mixed crowd, with something for everyone on the floor.
🎨 Activities: Sparkly face painting with gems, plus a kandi-making station — everyone can make one bracelet for themselves and one to share, a hands-on way for kids to learn Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect and what it means to pass those values to others.
🧘 Sensory Refuge Room: A quiet space on-site for kids (or adults) who need a break from the sound and lights, with coloring and fidgets.
🎧 Forgot your sensory headphones? We've got a limited quantity for sale at the merch table.
🍕 Food & Drinks: Available for purchase on-site.
👗 What to Wear: However you feel most comfortable moving — costumes, rave gear, sweats, whatever works for you and your kids 😊

AI agents dominate current industry discussion, yet clear explanations of what they are, why they fail, and what roles they are creating remain scarce. This session offers a foundational introduction for students and early-career technologists. We’ll examine what distinguishes an agent from a conventional chatbot — tools, memory, and planning loops — and trace an agent through the completion of a realistic task. We then turn to the less-demonstrated half of the problem: the data an agent requires to be useful, and the boundaries it requires to be safe.

AI is changing how software is built and how developers approach everyday problems. For students and early-career engineers, keeping up with new tools and practices can feel overwhelming. Understanding how the industry has evolved and learning to make thoughtful decisions about AI can help you adapt and build skills that last.
Our guest speaker, **Bethany Janos**, is a senior software engineer
