Celebrating over 15 years of serving free pancakes and introducing you to some of the nation's leading emerging artists. The LA-based event originated in 2009 and has since popped up more than 500 times in 35+ cities around Europe and North America.

Batter sizzles, beer foams, and canvas lines the walls from ceiling to floor as hundreds, sometimes thousands, of revelers indulge in endless pancakes.

David has played at 400+ events and even internationally in Chile, Italy, Mexico, Pakistan, Peru and the United States. Whether for audiences large or small, David is known for his visceral yet polished style of playing, and consistently delivers captivating performances of traditional and contemporary classical guitar. David is also on faculty at Clackamas Community College in Oregon City where he is the professor of classical guitar. We anticipate being very busy—reservations are strongly recommended.

Pee Wee Herman Pub Crawl

Meredith Walter, Jen LaneMap

Join us Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 3pm to 9pm for a playful Pee-Wee Herman-themed adventure through the Clinton/Division Street neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. You may see Miss Yvonne at Double Barrel, or cross paths with Cowboy Curtis at the Reel ‘m’ Inn. You might share some fries with Pee-wee himself at Dot’s. Don your best Pee-wee Herman-themed costume and join us on this one-of-kind, epic bar crawl. The group will hit about half a dozen bars, all featuring Pee-wee themed drink and food specials. In honor of Paul Reubens, Pee-wee Herman himself, a devoted animal lover, we're donating 75% of proceeds directly to PDX Cat Trapper, a grassroots Portland feral cat rescue and registered 503c charity. If you love the world of Pee-wee Herman and cats, then this is the event for you! Tickets are $20 and available at https://peeweepubcrawl.com/tickets. The secret meet-up location will be sent only to ticket holders. During the pub crawl, there will be multiple costume contests, a Pee-wee trivia competition, a scavenger hunt, a sound-alike contest, dance-offs, and more fun than you can shake a stick at! Stick around for the after-party featuring a special DJ spinning records. Prizes will be awarded for the various contests at this time. The Pee-wee Pub Crawl is the brainchild of Meredith Walter, a devoted Pee-wee fan! She’d long dreamt of doing a pub crawl in tribute to Paul Reubens, so she enlisted Portland's pub crawl expert, former BarFly Bus hostess with the mostess and planner-in-chief, Jen Lane. Together, they enlisted the help of their fellow Pee-wee afficionados, prolific publisher and dynamic graphic artist, Jared Prophet, the noted artist, deejay, and event creator, Matt Stanger, and The Photobooth Chick, herself, Jocelyn Dean. Verboort Sausage Festival

  • Organizer: Cameron Bennett
  • Schedule: Meet at 8am, ride at 8:30am
  • Ride Length: 15+ miles
  • End Location: The scheduled portion of the ride will end at the sausage fest. Stick with the group to roll to the Hatfield (Hillsboro) MAX station after dinner, or ride home when you've had enough to eat and drink.
  • Location Details: Meet under the picnic shelter by the basketball courts
  • Audience: Adults (21+)

Would you ride in the rain for all-you-can-eat bratwurst? Let's enjoy some rolling (and likely rainy) miles to Verboort; the all-you-can eat dinner tastes way better if you ride there!

GETTING THERE
Meet at the Wallace Park picnic shelter near the basketball courts. Gather at 8am, departing at 8:30am - can't be too late to dinner. Pace will be spirited enough to stay warm but slow enough to not show up too sweaty. There will be a few regroup/snack breaks at the top of the climbs, as shown on the route.

THE ROUTE
Please be aware that there are some significant hills on this route, and we will be far from TriMet service at times. While this is a no-drop ride, you are expected to be self-sufficient! Bring enough layers and calories to keep yourself happy and healthy for the conditions. There are short sections of busy roads on route, but it is generally pretty low-traffic. There is a short section of gravel since it's the nicest way to get over the hill; you will be able to ride it on any type of bike.

Bring a lock, lights, rain gear, and some cash! Fenders are appreciated :)

THE SAUSAGE FESTIVAL
Dinner is $23, and there will be a wait to eat after we arrive. Luckily, there's a beer garden to pass the time in... There will be sauerkraut and sausage for sale. Make sure you've got the stomach and cargo capacity to take advantage of it all!

https://www.verboort.org/dinner

GETTING HOME
Worried about riding home? ...trust us, the MAX is the better option. We'll roll out as a group and keep the pace easy on our full tummies.

Bluegrass and Brews

Tomorrow's Verse ~ Taproom & Bottle Shop4605 Northeast Fremont Street

Every Tuesday, something pretty special happens at Tomorrow's Verse Taproom. Musicians pull up a chair, listeners grab a pint, and for a couple of hours the room turns into the kind of community space that's getting harder and harder to find. No stage, no spotlight, no barriers—just people sharing songs, stories, and a love of live music.

Whether you play, listen, or just enjoy being around good people, Bluegrass and Brews is a place to connect. Discover your new favorite musician, catch up with neighbors, and support a group of local pickers who keep traditional music alive, one tune at a time.

Pull up a chair. Order a pint. Stay awhile. The music's better when the room (or courtyard) is full.
