Butch Bootcamp: Craft Circle — Art Design Xchange

An open, hands-on craft circle at ADX, Portland's long-running maker and fabrication space on SE 11th Avenue. The invitation from the organizers is characteristically blunt: make things with your hands, make time for your art, make new friends, make a mess. Bring whatever project you want to work on -- including the one you have probably been putting off -- and make your Pinterest dreams come to life alongside other makers. This runs as part of ADX's Butch Bootcamp series, which also covers basic power tools and drywall repair, and it is aimed at building practical shop confidence in a low-pressure, social setting rather than teaching a single prescribed project. Three hours, Sunday afternoon, at the ADX shop at 417 SE 11th Avenue. Useful for anyone curious about fabrication, woodworking a https://artdesignxchange.com/events/butch-bootcamp-drywall-repair-gxxwr
