Eco-Printing

Explore the colors and patterns of fall leaves by printing them onto textiles. The workshop covers mordanting, dye chemistry, choosing and preserving leaves, composing designs, and bundling and cooking methods. Participants receive printed information for recreating the process at home and make a printed raw silk bandana. Bring water, lunch or snacks, and layers suitable for the weather.
