CPR/AED Basic First Aid

This course covers first aid, conventional CPR, and AED skills for adults, children, and infants, following Health and Safety Institute guidelines. Participants practice placing someone in the recovery position, using CPR and an AED, controlling severe external bleeding, and responding to other medical emergencies that may occur at work or at home. The course is designed to build or strengthen skills and knowledge to help prevent serious injury, illness, and death. Digital certificates are issued upon successful completion, and certification is valid for two years. Continuing education units may be available for specific programs or industries.
