Sushi 101 with Chef Devin

Join Chef Devin, owner and chef at Sushi Closet, for an evening of sushi making! Devin will guide us through 4 traditional dishes, teach you about making the best sushi rice, and share her tips on sourcing.

What to expect:

• Class includes all ingredients, recipes, tools and instruction.

• Instruction via some demo and some hands-on cooking.

• Our recipes will include rice, raw fish, soy, vegetables. Please inquire before registering if you are unsure if this class will be a good match for your dietary needs.

• Plenty of sampling, plus recipes to take home.

• Sake, wine and beer available for purchase at class.

About our Instructor:

For the past decade, Devin Jacobson has immersed herself in the vibrant culinary world of sushi in Portland. As a seasoned sushi chef, her journey has been a delightful exploration of flavors, techniques, and a sincere passion for sharing this art form with everyone. Her mission is to demystify sushi and make it accessible to all.
