As the daytime gets shorter towards the winter, it’s a perfect timing to fold origami lampshades! Instructor Yuki Martin will show you how to fold various kinds of lampshades, step-by-step. They will be illuminated by LED battery tealight candles (provided). Kids in grade 4 or younger will do best with a favorite adult. Space is limited! Registration preferred and opens on October 31.

Enjoy a relaxing evening of learning a new craft on Tuesdays! Here's what we'll be making: Tuesday, December 29th: Goal Punch Cards Tuesday, January 26th: Wall Calendars Tuesday, February 23rd: Felt Creations All supplies will be provided! This crafting event is intended for adult participants and is first come, first served.

Tweens and teens in 6th, 7th and 8th grade , you are invited to talk about graphic novels, craft and eat snacks! All supplies provided and it’s FREE! Books are available for pick up at Fairview library. At our first meeting in September we will VOTE on which books we will read throughout the year, and everyone will receive the October book.

Please note this storytime will take place in the children's area of the library. Children from birth to age 6 (with a favorite adult) will enjoy books, songs, rhymes and movement activities while building language and literacy skills. After storytime, we will have social time with either toys or a craft activity! Please stay home if anyone in your home is sick.
