Brendan James is an American singer-songwriter whose original songs explore love, optimism, political enlightenment, simplifying, self-empowerment, wanderlust, and aimless adventures in the natural world. Across six studio albums, he has covered a wide range of themes, and his performances feature stories and fresh perspectives. He has collaborated or toured with John Mayer, John Legend, Cat Stevens, Carly Simon, Keb’ Mo’, and Andy Grammer, and his songs have appeared in more than 15 television shows and films worldwide.

Northern California-based duo Misner & Smith bring poetic, story-rich songwriting and masterful vocal harmonies to their live performances. Their music blends Americana with rock, traditional folk, and pop influences, creating a gloriously nonconforming sound. Their acclaimed album All is Song celebrates music, songwriting, and collaboration.

Sunday, 11/08/2026: Sturtz Serene, Nostalgic, Harmony-Centric. NPR’s All Songs Considered described Sturtz as “a reassuring breath of fresh air that pulls me back to simpler times."" The group is serene and folksy, with melodic vocals soaring over the lower string instrumentals. Sturtz released their second studio album Hyacinth in September 2024, and they're hard at work writing songs for their next album now. When they’re not playing music, you’ll probably find them gardening, honing in on their photography skills, or parading their giant dog around town. Time/Place: 07:00 PM, Artichoke Music.
