Naked Classics: Enigma Variations

Overview

Popular music educator Paul Rissmann’s multimedia, laid-back, interactive, and friendly presentation offers an insightful and engaging look at Elgar’s loving portrait of his circle of family and friends in rural Worcestershire, the “Enigma” Variations. The gang’s all here, including gracious Winifred Norbury, blustering Arthur Troyte Griffith, stuttering Dora Penny, a rambunctious bulldog named Dan, and even Elgar himself. The presentation is followed by a full performance of the work.
