Produce Row Café

"Austin B. Sweeny's sound combines the organic acoustic sounds of Mumford & Sons, Sturgill Simpson, and Van Morrison with the electric West Coast sounds that harken back to the Eagles, Pearl Jam, and Jackson Browne. His songwriting is self-referential and extremely personal, yet universal. It touches on themes of growth, freedom, anxiety, addiction, spirituality, and the pure joy of an open highway." 6 - 8 pm. Free entry with food or beverage purchase.

Tevis Hodge and Johnnie Ward live at Produce Row, 7 - 9 pm. Free entry with purchase of food or beverage. Tevis Hodge: “Well-versed in multiple blues idioms such as the Piedmont, Delta, Texas, urban, and country blues styles, He also dips into jazz, jug band, folk, and even old-timey novelty tunes. Tevis Hodge Jr's repertoire is an eclectic mix, while his performance oozes with originality and passion.” Johnnie Ward: “He was on the original roster for the very first Waterfront Blues Festival (then named Rose City Blues Festival).... but his mere lengthy presence in the scene isn't what makes him great. Talk to every respected legend in the NW region, and everyone raves about his musicianship. He sits happily at the crux of the Blues and Jazz scene, and wherever the quirky Jugband scene fits. He plays Thelonious Monk on the damn harmonica!”
