Future 50 community vision tables
What do you want to see in your community in 50 years? What are your dreams for the future?
As part of the Future 50 project, Metro is holding conversations with communities to develop aspirations for 2077 that will guide the direction of our region. We want to hear from you!
Join a community visioning table this fall to share your hopes for the future.
- Connect with other community members to help create regional aspirations for the future.
- Learn about Metro’s Future 50 project and what other community members and regional leaders are saying.
- Learn about the shared regional values that will guide the development of the vision.
Registration is required. Bring your ideas, perspective and creativity. Refreshments are provided. These events are open to members of the public who live, work, go to school or spend time in the greater Portland region—including urban and rural Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties.
Council Chat at Rosauers Cafe
Councilmembers Lee Wells and Clyde Burkle host the final Council Chat of the fall, with complimentary pastries. The early-bird option for anyone who would rather talk local government before work than on a weekend.

Metro Council meeting
Agendas, minutes, legislation, videos and audio recordings are available online.
Metro Council meetings, sometimes called business meetings, are when the council hears public communication on agenda items, listens to reports and presentations from staff, and takes action to vote on legislation.
Council meetings are held online and in person at the Metro Regional Center council chamber. The public is encouraged to attend all Metro Council meetings, and every meeting includes public communications, or time for the public to give their comments, either generally or on items on the agenda for the day. Public testimony may be delivered either in person or online. See the public testimony page for information on how to give your comments before or during the meeting.
If you are unable to attend a meeting live, audio and video recordings are available online within a week of each meeting.
